What Depression Really Feels Like…

Hey Friends!

Depression can feel like a heavy weight on your shoulders, making even the simplest tasks seem impossible. It's like being trapped in a deep, dark hole with no way out. You may not want to talk to anyone, but at the same time, you feel an overwhelming sense of loneliness. It's a strange contradiction that can leave you feeling even more isolated.

Depression can also make you feel exhausted all the time. You might struggle to get out of bed in the morning and feel like you have no energy to do anything. It's not just physical tiredness but mental and emotional exhaustion that makes you feel drained.

Even though you know the things you need to do to feel better, it can be challenging to follow through. Depression can make even the simplest tasks feel daunting, and the thought of taking steps toward recovery can be overwhelming. You might feel like you're stuck in a cycle of hopelessness and despair, unable to break free.

Most of all, depression can feel like you're just trying to survive. It's not about living life to the fullest or pursuing your dreams. Instead, it's about getting through each day, one step at a time. It's a battle with your own mind that can leave you feeling defeated and helpless.
