Here’s What Might Help With Your Anxiety

anxiety compassion negativity progress understanding Jul 23, 2025

Hey Friends!

One technique that can help you deal with anxiety is distancing yourself from it. Imagine that anxiety is a separate person who lives inside your head and yells at you about all the things you should be afraid of. Try to feel compassion towards your anxiety, as it is just trying to protect you from getting hurt or experiencing failure.

However, it's important to recognize that failure and getting hurt are just a part of the human experience. While your anxiety may have certain desires for you, such as avoiding certain situations, you must learn to act opposite to what it wants in order to grow as a person.

Be grateful for the voice of anxiety, but recognize that you cannot shield yourself from all negative experiences forever. By distancing yourself from your anxiety and recognizing that it does not define you, you can start to take steps towards a more peaceful and fulfilling life.
