Little Tips For Days Where You Feel Like Not Getting Out Of Bed
Nov 05, 2025
Hey Friends!
We all have those days where we don't feel like doing anything. It can be especially challenging when you're struggling with depression or other mental health conditions. But even on these tough days, there are small things you can do to take care of yourself and make progress.
- Mentally prepare yourself: Start by mentally preparing yourself that today might be a challenging day. Remind yourself that you've faced tough days before, and you got through them. It's okay to not feel okay, but know that you can handle whatever comes your way. π§

- Make your bed: This might seem like a small task, but getting out of bed and making it can give you a sense of accomplishment and a positive start to your day. It's a small win, but it can set the tone for the rest of your day. π.

- Go for a walk: Even if it's just for a few minutes, getting outside and moving your body can do wonders for your mood. Find a reason to go outside, like going to a shop, picking something up, or going on a hunt for a pet rock. It can be as simple as that! πΆβοΈ

- Write down small tasks: Write down a list of small tasks that need to be done, even if they're basic things like brushing your teeth, eating something, or taking a shower. This can help you feel more organized and accomplished as you check off each task. π.

- Remember who you are: It's important to remember that feeling depressed is something you're experiencing, but it's not who you are. You are a unique individual with strengths and weaknesses, and you are capable of making progress even on the toughest days. Remember to prioritize small steps towards progress, and know that things can and will get better. πͺ

Remember, taking care of yourself is an ongoing process that requires practice and patience. These small tips can help you on the days when you don't feel like doing anything, and can help you feel more in control of your day. Don't forget to be kind to yourself, and reach out for help when you need it. π
