Signs of A High-Functioning Depression
Jun 04, 2025
Hey Friends!
Let's talk about something that isn't always easy to spot: high-functioning depression. You might be the go-getter who seems to have everything together on the surface but still feels like something is off. Maybe you're feeling empty, exhausted, or disconnected and struggling to find joy in the things you used to love. Sound familiar?
Well, you're not alone! High-functioning depression is a real thing, and it's important to recognize the signs so you can get the support you need. Here are a few things to look out for: feeling numb or empty, constant fatigue, difficulty enjoying things, perfectionism and fear of failure, and trouble connecting with others.
But don't worry, there is hope! If you're experiencing any of these symptoms, it's okay to ask for help. Whether it's talking to a friend, reaching out to a therapist, or finding other ways to take care of yourself, there are things you can do to feel better. Remember, healing takes time, and there is no shame in seeking support.
